THE BIRTHDAY BASH

Makenzie loves to be the center of attention so to have all of her peers that adore her to be at her Birthday was the greatest thing. I have to say she has huge fan club.
Happy Birthday "Summer Blue" hope you remember this moment in your life for a long time.

She is so spoiled. Every one was so generous

For the most part I have always made my girl's Their Birthday cakes. Homemade frosting and all. It's fun and I enjoy it and so do they. I always want them to know how special they are.

Makenzie's Birthday Party was delayed due to the Band Auditions. So she took it upon herself to plan this party The next thing I knew she had given out at least 50 invitations and when she ran out she just decided to invite over half of the 8Th grade class. Thank heavens only about 45 of them showed up.

CONGRATULATIONS MAKENZIE!!!!!

In a previous post I mentioned Makenzie had placed first chair in the region of S.C. Because of that it qualified her to go to All-state Auditions. She was very excited and so were we. Her
All-state Aud. were held Sat. Jan. 26. Her audition time was at 3:30 P.M. She had about 10min. to show the judges what she was made of. That night at around 8:30 P.M. while in the middle of her birthday party her band director Mr. Ashmore gave her the news we were all waiting for.
Congratulations Makenzie! You are 2nd chair in the state. You are the best of the best.
All THINGS ARE POSSIBLE WITH GOD!

Our Super-Model

This was some Valentine fabric Christy had bought for me. I have been waiting around like I usually do when I get new material afraid to CUT IT UP!!!! So when we were out I bought the red fabric and thought I might get a little adventurous.

Once I get her started I can't get her to stop. She might be a bit on the quiet side but she is definitely not camera shy.

I'm Ready For The Runway!

Karlie has always had to wear the hand-me-downs since she came along. So she loves all the new stuff. (Even if it isn't perfect) So since she loves wearing it I'll keep CUTTING IT UP!!!!!

Lu-Lu's First Friend

Lacy absolutely loves Bonnie-Bell. She will walk and say Bon-Bon. It's so cute and Bonnie unlike Ginger will let her hold her
She finally caught her!! Good Job Lu-Lu.

A Fun Day

Lacey enjoying her lemons at lunch today!

Today I spent the day with my very good friend Christy and her Beautiful, sweet Baby Lacey. We went to Lowe's so we could pick out paint for her kitchen. Her kitchen is getting ready to experience a makeover. I'm so excited because I get to be part of this. From there we went treasure hunting for little accessories which we both found. So exciting!! Christy spotted this neat little Picture. It reads---I will sing to the Lord as long as I live. I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.-------Psalm104:33

I thought this was so neat. I think I will keep it near my desk. From there we topped off a tasty lunch at Red Robin. A very fun day. Oh, and by the way For the record Lacy Loves Me. I'm her new Auntie Becca. (Emilee, Nicholas, Zachary, Carlito and Felix Aunt Becca loves you all so much. Talking about Lacy makes miss you all.)

A lesson in sewing

I have been blessed with a very dear friend who is a mother of 4 and is very talented in more ways than one. She is amazing with a sewing machine. She taught me how to make the skirts Karlie has been wearing. I am so proud of them and Karlie loves wearing them also.
Today she spent the day with me teaching me to make a pillow-case dress. I am posting it for the first time. I had a great time making it and learned a lot. Thanks Christy!
Karlie is modeling the snowman skirt and lacy is trying on the valentine outfit. I guess it doesn't fit just yet but we will save it for her.
Let's see. A day spent laughing, eating grilled cheese sandwiches and sewing. It doesn't get any better than that!!!!---------------------Life is Good!

Musical Tunes

I have always said "Music Opens The Door To The Soul".

I have always loved music. From old to new. It runs thick in my blood passed on from Generation to Generation. There is hardly not a moment that passes when I can hear the melodious tunes playing over and over in my head like an old record player when it gets stuck.

That musical God -Given talent rears
its head again in the Generations to come.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!MY BEAUTIFUL DREAM-GIRL . 1st. CHAIR IN THE REGION!!!!!! We are so proud of you! The sky is the limit so hold on for an incredible ride.

WE LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!
